    C&R Move

Is it necessary for a C&R-NFA collector to notify the NFA Branch that they have moved their collection
to another state? I know the interstate travel is covered by the license, I notified the state police
and they didn't care, just so I wasn't breaking any Federal laws. Should I notify the NFA Branch or just
    assume that they already know?
    Thanks,
    Darryl

ATF's NFA Branch would prefer that you notify them.

    Jeff,
Should the notification be by letter or 5320.20?
    Thanks for the recommendation,

I would use the 5320.20 and attach a letter stating that the move will be permanent. Redundancy is the hallmark of government!
